Colliers Wood Locksmith

One stop down the Northern line from our base

Colliers Wood is Tooting’s immediate neighbour, one stop down the Northern line and a few minutes’ drive from our Trinity Road dispatch point. For lockouts and urgent lock problems anywhere between the High Street, the Wandle and Merton Abbey Mills, we are usually at the quick end of our 20 to 30 minute response.

New flats, old terraces, retail parks

Colliers Wood mixes Victorian terraces off Robinson Road with a wave of newer apartment buildings around the tube and the retail parks. The two need very different locksmiths’ kits, and we carry both:

• For the flats: euro cylinder changes when tenants move, repairs to communal entrance doors, post box lock opening and replacement, and thumb-turn cylinders that keep fire escape routes simple.
• For the houses: mortice deadlocks and nightlatches on timber doors, British Standard upgrades for insurance, and window locks for older sashes and newer casements.
• For everyone: non-destructive entry when you are locked out, broken key extraction, and burglary repairs with boarding up where a door or window has been damaged.

The van is stocked with locks from trusted brands including Yale, ERA, Union and Chubb, plus high-security and anti-snap cylinders, which is why around 95 per cent of jobs are finished on the first visit.
