Brixton Locksmith

A locksmith that keeps pace with Brixton

Brixton does not slow down much, and neither do its lock problems. Between the crowds around Windrush Square, gig nights at the Academy and the constant churn of flats and shares up Brixton Hill, someone in SW2 is always locked out, and we answer 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From our Tooting base we typically reach Brixton within 20 to 30 minutes, price confirmed on the phone first.

The jobs we do most in SW2

Window locks

Ground-floor flats in Brixton’s Victorian conversions often have original sashes with no locks at all. We fit key-operated sash locks and casement locks that meet British Standards and insurance requirements, without spoiling period frames.

Post box locks

Shared hallways mean banks of post boxes, and post box keys are the easiest keys in London to lose. We open jammed or keyless boxes without damage where possible and fit fresh locks with new keys.

Key safes

For carers, cleaners, Airbnb changeovers or simply a reliable spare, a properly fitted key safe beats a key under the mat every time. We supply and fix them securely to masonry, sited sensibly out of view.

Lockouts, changes and upgrades

Non-destructive entry for lockouts, cylinder changes at tenancy changeover, and upgrades to anti-snap and high-security locks from brands including Yale, Chubb, ERA, Union and Mul-T-Lock. After a break-in we make the property safe the same day, boarding included.

Fair, upfront and accountable

You get the price before we travel, a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship after we leave, and a DBS/CRB-checked locksmith insured up to £5 million in between. Call 020 3151 7091.
